Coordinate the participation of the College of Nursing in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology (RxP) program at ISU. Contribute to the teaching, scholarship and service expectations of a faculty role with primary emphasis on supporting the MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology (RxP) program, interprofessional opportunities, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner [PMHNP] program in the College of Nursing.
• Participate in all aspects of the clinical faculty role; teaching courses, scholarship, and service.
• Coordinate with the Director of the MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology (RxP) program to facilitate didactic and experiential learning experiences for students enrolled in PMHNP and MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology (RxP) programs.
• Support the continued development of clinical training sites including preceptor development for these graduate programs.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress.
• Participate in policy and procedure development for program accreditation and student success.
Doctorate in Nursing or related field.
Hold certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Clinical Assistant Professor: Demonstrated ability to teach. Experience in coordinating programs. Record of participation in scholarship with potential for scholarship and grants/contracts.
Clinical Associate Professor: Demonstrated experience in coordinating and evaluating programs. Teaching experience with evidence of teaching effectiveness. Record of scholarship with dissemination in peer reviewed outlets. Record of professional service at the local, regional or state level.
Prior experience with an established RxP program.
Prior experience teaching, supervising, and/or training students or residents in academic and/or clinical settings.
Demonstrated success in working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
